Walden Optical has been serving Lively, Naughton, Whitefish and surrounding areas since 1988. Registered optician Rick Petrenko (now retired) opened his own shop after having worked as a lab technician and optician in Sudbury, Timmins, and Espanola. Rick’s commitment to customer service and old-school expertise has built up a loyal customer base. In 2017, he began training his daughter Beth with the intention of passing on the family business. In 2019, Beth became a licensed optician and certified contact lens fitter, and took over the family tradition of meeting the eye care needs of the community. We pride ourselves on exceptional service, value and quality.
